How do you send a picture from a website to Facebook?

Postby Joyce A » Tue Jun 29, 2010 3:59 am

I ordered a painting from an online store and would like to post the picture of it on my Facebook. Is there a way I can do this?

you can either save the picture and upload it, or get the image URL and paste it in your status :D

How do you send a picture from a website to Facebook?

Step 1
Using the web browser of your choice go onto Facebook and log into your account
Step 2
Click the profile tab
Step 3
On your profile page click right on the box in the top right where your profile picture should go. If you already have a profile picture then click your profile picture.
Step 4
Now select the Change Profile Picture link in the link bar that looks like the picture.
Step 5
Now select Choose File Button. Now in the pop up window find the picture you want to upload and click upload. Only upload a picture that you own the rights to. And come on people set your profile picture to an actual picture of you and not some picture of some celebrity or some funny picture. Its great to be funny, it is. However, people prefer to see an actual picture of you as your profile picture. You can upload any picture you want to your Facebook wall, or make a whole Facebook photo album of those pictures.
Step 6
Now make sure you set check the checkbox to certify you own the picture. and then click the upload picture button
Step 7
Now you have uploaded your picture and you are essentially done. However it is a good idea to edit the thumbnail version of your profile picture. The thumbnail version is how your profile picture will look in the newsfeed of your friends and such. If you roll your mouse over the thumbnail version your mouse turns to a four-headed arrow. When it does this click and hold your mouse and drag the image into you are satisfied with how it looks. The picture to the left is an example of a thumbnail version. You can see me ugly mug in the picture.

Hope it helps you. For more information http://www.iyogi.co.uk
