TSN had the Bruins ranked last at the beging of the season. Now look , there one of the most competitve teams in the NHL and with players like Patrice Bergeron , Chuck Kobasew, Mark Savard and Manny Fernadez misssing there still able to get it done. Crazzy aint it?

They are decent; not spectacular. Heck the Devils have done more with less this year than the Bruins.

Claude Julien, his system / coaching style is a perfect fit for the assets he has. Should get serious coach of the year consideration.

when you say so good, do you mean how are they average when they should be awful?
they have made the playoffs so have a shot but it's going to take upset after upset after upset after upset for them to win

hahah "..TSN HAD THEM DEAD LAST, THEY'RE DEAD WRONG; THE BOSTON BRUINS ARE GOING TO THE PLAYOFFS ONCE AGAIN!"
Because they don't center they're play around the big named players. They truly play as a team. They've had to call on some younger players from Providence, and the young guys have gotten it done. Krejci has been doing real good, Sobtka, Nokalinen, Reich, and the obvious Lucic, the list goes on and on. There's these players that you've never heard of in your life getting game winning goals, and being the turning point in games night after night. It's real exciting to watch.

They're definitely a surprise but I the think Flyers are the biggest turn around of the year (Turn around of the decade?) The Sabres were a big turn around team too but in the other direction. Presidents Trophy, conference finalists last year to 10th seed finishers this year.
And yes, I see the Devils..everyone does. Everyone also see's Martin Broduer in goal playing 70 games a year for the past decade and a half. If you haven't noticed, the Devils have been a winning team since the 90's and are expected to be a winning team because of one man who is never injured. Without him the Devils are the Bruins and we'll see how far they go then.

Um...the Bruins are 2 points up on 9th place, backing into the playoffs...are you sure they're really that good? I mean, Bergeron would have helped a lot this year, but they're not that strong of a team. They'll be out in the first round, unfortunately.
As for Philly being the turn-around of the century...umm...they're eighth in the east, and barely in the playoffs, despite their big name signings. How is that a great turnaround?
